Are you interested in being a 'TRF-Inky'
A TRF "Inky" is a (male or female) who is an 'Ink Club' member and in that regard they will (to start with) have a chance to win a vintage Montblanc 149 Fountain Pen and have the tailored to their personal taste by John Mottishaw (subject to his confirmation).
The cost of being an "Ink Club" member is $10 (for 2010) limited to 80 members. This will entitle members to have access to some wonderful things I'm yet to work out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds interesting Steve......
Not really a big pen to paper guy lately but always liked the finer writing instruments...

I would love to. I have learned a great deal from the pen sub-forum. I have always wanted a nice luxury pen; however, prior to the pen-subform I did not have the confidence to buy.
Now I have three and counting...I'm not sure if that's a good thing

I'd be interested as well. Don't own a FP at present, but would love the opportunity to get my hands on that vintage MB.

Steve, is the "vintage" 149 celluoid or "precise resin"? 14 or 18 K or C? monotone or two/tri tone nib?

I like the idea. I have no passion for writing instruments right now, but maybe this will spark it? |
