Newbie with Question re serial numbers
My watch has the following number R180388/B83858003 on its booklet sleeve. What are these numbers? Is one a unique serial number? Or are they just model identifiers?

Best I can do is direct you to another thread that's currently running:-
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=116856 In a nutshell, the serial number you have is very new and replaces the previous system of an alphabet followed by a six digit number. It's controversial though, just read the thread and see... |

Which number is the serial number? The R number or the B number?

The R looks like a serial number, not sure about the other number, can you take a pic of the book and post it ?
