New Purchases

Today I went up to the mall where the MontBlanc store is located and picked up a Meisterstuck Solitaire Doue Signum with an extra fine nib for 40% off retail. The reason it was on sale was because that nib size is not very popular and is being discontinued. Also in the same mall was Paradise Pens and they are having a 15% off sale on fountain pens only. If you buy two fountain pens you get 20% off retail. Well, I couldn't help myself and scored the Namiki Vanishing Point with a medium nib. Now I would like to go back and pick up another MontBlanc FP so I'm going to sit on my hands and contemplate my options.....I will have to take some pictures and post them later!!!

Great score Leo, looking forward to the pics.

Wonder why they never have MB sales in the UK.

They do sometimes have sales here in Aus. 10% off on selected items.

Those sound great, Leo. I would be drawn to the XF nib myself. Sounds like you scored a nice variety.

Today, I made my way over to the MontBlanc store and bought my new pen a Solitaire Silver Fibre Guilloche with an extra fine nib. I also bought a bottle of their Bordeaux ink since I like the color a lot. This pen is a dream to write with and I love the color of the ink(has become my favorite). The pen just glides across the paper and I really like the fine line produced by the extra fine nib. I will have to post some pictures as this pen has become my new flavor of the week!!!
