FS: Omega TT "Double Eagle" Constellation

Hello all. So, here is my first and very likely last post on the "for sale" portion of this awesome forum. I'm not in the watch selling business, just have this watch that I want to sell to raise some money to go towards the purchase of a Rolex. I'm a one "nice watch" at a time guy.

Anyway, the watch for sale is an Omega "Double Eagle" Constellation watch.

This particular model to the best of my knowledge has been recently discontinued. Omega appears to have released a newer model which looks very similar, AND, ACCORDING TO A RECENT CONVERSATION WITH AN OMEGA AD, RETAILS FOR $8,000.

Model number -- 1203.30.00. Retail cost was $5,150. Self Winding Automatic Chronometer Movement -- Caliber: Omega 2500. Swiss Made. - Power Reserve: Approximately 44 Hours. Scratch Resistant Sapphire Crystal. Sapphire Crystal Exhibition Back. Solid 18K Gold with Steel Case & Full Bar Bracelet. 100 Meters / 330 Feet Water Resistant. Luminescent Hands and Markers. Size -- 38mm = 1 5/8" Case, 7" Adjustable Bracelet. Deployment Buckle.

This watch will be two years old at the end of this month, March 2010. The co-axial movement has a three year warranty. I am the original owner. Sale price is $2,500/OBO.

The watch was obtained directly from Omega in Secacus, New Jersey in March 2008. Warranty card clearly shows watch bought at the Omega New Jersey headquarters -- card is dated March 21, 2008.

As shown in photos, have original boxes, booklet, and all three pertinent cards -- Pictograms, chronometer certificate, and international warranty.

The watch has what I would consider normal wear marks -- Nothing I imagine could not be easily buffed out. I have not had this polished or buffed by a jeweler.

I'd say the watch in good to very good condition. Will be obvious upon inspection. Photo on arm taken 2/26/10.

Have all extra links, both 18K gold and stainless. Also have some extra links from a SS Constellation model (a previously-owned Omega). In total I have 4 SS extra links, and 2 gold bar links, plus pins.

Bottom line -- After reading so much here about people trying to pass off fake watches on unsuspecting buyers, this is just not me. In fact, as a member of the Maryland Bar (yes, I'm an attorney), currently working for a department of the federal givernment, if I were to be found to have defrauded someone in a transaction such as this, I could I suppose be disbarred (violation of character requirements). Naturally, I would never allow that to happen.
