I'm looking for a rubber OEM strap and am wondering if there's a good way to tell genuine from fake. Maybe comparing detailed pics is the best way to understand the difference? Thanks in advance.

Detailed pics yes...but also consider your source carefully.

Go straight to Panerai (the local AD might do a discount from price list price) for the strap and all fear is gone!
