why the the PO immediately start running??
just by handling it at the AD it immediately starts running?
where as other mechanical watches such as rolex will never run unless wound or shaken repeatedly |

Not unusual for any watch IMO.

i mean it is like super sensitive. it surprises me how the PO can already gain some power really fast just by putting it on.

That happens sometimes with my DJ; not so much with my Sub or Exp.

I really think it depends on the specific watch, NOT brand or model. Some of my watches react like this, some don't. I bet you'd find POs that don't do this.

I'm suprised. My PO requires a lot of winding before it starts.

Frequently, if a watch is allowed to run down, it stops when the pallet jewel is just on the edge of unlocking...
Any movement will be enough to unlock the escapement and the hairspring will swing, keeping enough velocity to run for a few seconds or minutes...but it will stop again in a very short time unless wound... ![]()

depends. sometimes the watch was shaken by a person before you. they put the watches in and out of the vault ever so often too.

Most places will store the watches elsewhere overnight, so you can guarantee they're being moved at least twice a day. Some movements seem a bit more willing to start up through movement alone than others - Rolex's ladies watches in particular seem to start up with very little persuasion, particularly annoying if I'm trying to set all the watches to 10.10
