My New Meisterstuck

OK Guys and Gals, after some time pondering if i needed a Montblanc I decided I did. So I ended up getting the carbon fiber and steel Meisterstuck. Sorry about the lousy pics, but I picked it up on my lunch hour at the local MB store and felt the overwhelming need to share. It's a 18k 2 tone Medium nib, and writes beautifully!

On a side note, the salesperson couldn't have been nicer, young guy, obviously knew his pens and watches. I asked about the in-house movements on the MB's and after chatting for a while, he handed me a wrapped hard-cover demo catalog for their watch line. Overall a great experience!!

Justin that is a beautiful looking pen, the carbon fiber must catch the light wonderfully and having had an MD with medium nib i know how smoothly it writes! Man, you guys are really pushing me to get another Mont Blanc (I gave my chopin away to a friend last year as she had no fountain pen) I really would love a broad nibbed 149 one day

Thanks guys! I've been using it for a couple of hours now, and it's well worth every penny!

You're right Ian, the CF is awesome, it's a large weave, so it really shows. If you're on the fence go for it! I was going to just look at a resin model, but the minute I held the metal pens I was hooked.

That's a nice pen, but it looks incredibly heavy! Is it?

Hey Guys, sorry about the delay, I've been crazy busy lately....luckily getting to use my new pen.

Joshua, The model is 05827 - Carbon and Steel
Shangas, The pen is certainly heavier than my resin pens, but not uncomfortably so. It has just enough weight to it that you don't have to press down at all to write, it truly glides on the paper!

Just wait until you start collecting Masonic rings, watches, and Past Masters jewels, then you'll be broke. Don't ask me how I know this to be true!!

Until I start?!?! I was picking up stuff since i was raised....I have 4 rings, and just ordered my PM jewel. I have mini working tools, challenge coins, etc. I never really found a masonic watch i liked enough to buy.

If you ever saw the movie The Man That Would Be King, some company is reproducing the watch fob.....I'm really thinking about picking one of those up.
