Rolex Engraved Rehaut Branding Question
Does anybody know when Rolex introduced this authenticity feature onto the production line? I'm receiving an F-seriel Datejust (white gold version 116139) that seems to have this engraved rehaut update......a little doubtful....

At the end of the Z series...(2007-2008) for most models, but I believe some specific models got it before than that...

Agree with JJ - doubtful that the F series would have it.

Earliest I have seen rehaut engraving was a "D" serial number on a 36mm Datejust.

Guys, the guy seems legit. Am I really receiving a fake one? Any other advice???? After a quick search I did see some other WG DJ featuring this authenticity thing as early as F-seriels......What's the story? Any master of DJ?

I have to say, it looks legit. Maybe take it to a RSC for authentification?

My F series Turn-o-graph has the rehaut engraving and laser etched crown. I've seen other F series turn o graphs with rehaut engravings.

Most likely one of those rare occasions where on F serial case was still available to have a movement put in it and by that time, the engraved rehaut was SOP.
If it were a fast moving model like a sub it might be cause for concern but F serial cases showing up later than expected was a thread topic here not too long ago. Looks A-OK to me. |

The solid gold models got the engraved rehaut well before the SS models..
D and F overlap and either could have it, just as the Z and M overlap with the rehaut on the SS models.. However, you should always verify any Rolex, regardless of the "features" you see..

Seen it on solid gold DD on "Z" models. All the "M" & "V"s seem to have it. Never seen it on a "D" or older. So an "F" would be unusual in the watches I have seen. Just observation. There should be someone on TRF with a DJ "F" that can verify.

FYI I purchased a brand new TT DJ D serial number and it has neither crown nor rehaut engravings. Bought in August 2009 from AD with full warranty and papers, etc. Wonder how long he had it. Great deal.
