New member (sort of) checking in!
Hi everybody!
Long time lurker here. 'Official' member since 08. I know most of you but you don't know me!  Just thought I'd introduce myself. Believe it or not, TRF has been a fairly big part of my life over the past yrs. I bought a SD 4000 (before it was discontinued) thanks to the info on various threads here. Best watch ever, even more than my Speedy! Thanks for being such cool and knowledgeable peeps! |

Thanks for the warm welcome!
You've probably seen all the usual macro-type SD pics, but here's one I took when I first got my Rolex. Just staring at the HEV. I was later told that this was not a good way to "sit" the watch (?bracelet scratching caseback) but I'm still not too sure. Bear in mind that up until 08, the only other watch I had was a $50 Seiko quartz so "baby-ing" a watch was not in my vocabulary... |
