Choices: 16610lv vs GMT IIc

What is the consensus. Both V series and priced brand new within $500. Use would be everyday where. I have owned both in the past and loved them for a time. I am slightly leaning to the LV, but I need ...

i'd go LV. it's my personal favorite and seems to be more unique IMO.

the LV has been discontinued from what I understand so the GMT-C will be easy to get at a future date if you decide to.

i've worn an LV almost everyday for 5yrs now. it's a great watch no matter you're doing!

.....and it does get many compliments, much more than any other Rolex I've worn

get what YOU like more

SUB LV If you get the extra black bezel you could always change it up when/if you get bored of the green.

I just sold my GMT IIc, but I'm not selling my LV!

The LV is great for everyday wear and tear and the green bezel gives it another classy dimension. The GMT IIc (while a beautiful watch) had all the right upgrades, but did not do it for me like the magnificent LV!

GMT IIC, for me. Green bezel, is a bit too much, for my personal taste.

tried on both at an AD, prefer the GMT-IIc

the LV just didnt quite do it, and although the green is super cool, just wasnt practical enough

LV is what i would go for. Like others said, GMT IIc can be obtained easily in the future.

I'm leaning towards the GMT, although I'm a bit biased.

Whatever your gut says. If you would have asked me 3 months ago I would have said GMT IIc hands down...but the LV has really grown on me. Is Rolex still going to produce it when the Sub with the green bezel AND dial comes out?

Best of luck with the decision!

GMT IIc is very comfortable watch, but don't know about everyday use with the wear and tear. You should get both and switch off.

16610V while you can find a new one along with a spare black bezel insert.
