41mm DJ II...The PERFECT sized Rolex
Hello TRF....
I have come to the conclusion that the 41mm DJ II is the PERFECT sized Rolex. I have owned just about every Rolex model, from the 43mm mammoth DSSD to the 36mm DJ. To me nothing sits better on my wrist and is more versatile with clothing than the DJ II. It sits under a shirt cuff without bunching and it looks great when you have a t shirt on. I think its time the sport models go to 41mm!!! A few pics..... |

I have seen it in the wild and I think it's too big. Just my opinion though.
Great looking watch BTW. |

I agree. If it's not the perfect size it sure is close!

Good that the DJ II is getting a following, but I prefer the original DJ.
The proportions of the DJ II just look a bit 'off' and unbalanced to me. Thought it would grow on me but never did. The couple that I have seen 'live' look too large for the wrist - not a scientific sample though.

I think perfect is relative to wrist size. You don't want to wear a small watch on larger wrists and vice versa.
