can you change the NIB of a MeisterStuck 146

just wondering.. i have a medium NIB and its a little bold for me, i write small and i'm considering a fine NIB

All MB fountain pens have spare nibs in the factory, you can get the nib exchanged to a different size (at a cost) as long as they haven't depleted their spare stocks but that's related to pens out of production for 15-20 years.

My advice is to goto a Montblanc boutique (if there is one near you) to test drive their different size nibs. For MB their "F" nib is still quite wide and maybe "EF" is required, however, their EF nibs are usually a dry writer and you'll need to consider that too - you may need to take it to a nibmeister to tune it ...

Changing the nib is quite easy - once you're in the boutique they can quote you the cost and duration. I think for US last I heard was $80 for a nib change. I maybe wrong though.

If you bought the pen from a MontBlanc store and have not used it yet I believe they will replace the nib one time for free!!!
