Are there any fake Pam 312's?

Hey TRF peeps,

This forum has helped my greatly when I got my TOG. I am seeking some
knowledge if the pam 312/320 has any known replicas or fakes to look
out for?

I did some searches about how its too new to be copied and that the
in-house movement is tough to replicate but cant confirm.

I am going to buy one (which I tried on and loved) and trying to find
a great deal might be preowned so that's is a main concern.

BTW i think i got the Panerai Fever but can someone confirm?

Place holder 312

Please share some deals if you come across any !

Well, I do know THAT one is fake. The hands are off, the font looks funny, and '9' isn't open. I'd stay away.

They'll make a replica dial, case, date. The have replica everything's, but the movement would be pretty hard to replicate!

Just buy the seller and if the deal is to good to be true, it is.

BTW, love the white dial PAM you have. Haven't seen that one b4!

I'll have you know the watch on my wrist is handmade!! :)

I do get the buy the seller advice but its the more private guys who sell 2 watches a year that gets me stumped. I guess I will check for referral posts and other forum activity by the seller.

What's sad (maybe) is that I've done the same thing (albeit a bit differently)...I've found pictures online and scaled them to 100% of "real life" and printed them out to get a feel for how big they will be. I can't remember the brand but one in particular (maybe more) posts printable PDFs of their watches that are scaled to print at 100% so you can "try them on"...complete with lines where you should cut. Pretty cool.

Keep in mind that PAM's can be easier to fake than a Rolex. You'll find some very good guys to buy from right here on TRF. Good luck on the search!
