Thank you Chris(Numistmatist)

Chris has been so generous with his wonderful pen rug give away competions and I was very fortunate to win one and it arrived today

I must admit all my pens were vying to be the first to be placed upon the rug but it was my 47 Parker Vacumatic that won in the end!

Thank you so much again Chris, it is a thing of beauty!

The quality of the rug is wonderful, a smaller version of those wonderful middle eastern silk rugs!

The Vac is one of my favorite pens Kai. There is something about those old Parkers, they write so well, wonderfully made and a sheer joy to use.

I now how a Duofold, Vacumatic and 51, I reckon three of Parkers best models, each one is a different writing experience and each one a joy to own!

Ian, vacumatics (love their alternating pattern on celluloid) has been added to my list and I have been talking to Nishimura san.

Looks very nice, Ian! Congratulations! It goes very well with the vintage Parker. A fitting resting spot.
