my lame entry

Hi all. Here's my lame entry... I know I don't have a chance of winning, I just wanted to support Chris's thread for his generous contributions to this site.

Things like this giveaway help make this one of the best forums around (not just watch forums)

History? I've had them both for approx 25 years, and used them both daily. As you can see, they have taken a bit of wear quite well! Maybe I need to send them off to RSC for a service and polish

I have a red ink in the BP to write appointments in my diary, blue in the FP for general notes and comments.

Made of solid aluminum... both are weighty, but BP is HEAVY! Lid screws onto FP with a nice thread.

I call them "bullet" pens!

I see them as "tool" pens... very much like a Sub...

Background is a "small" gift for the wife... she's a great woman.. a keeper
I thought hte green matched my green-hand nicely!

I'll post some pics of writing and close-ups of the pens one day in the Pen sub-forum if anyone is interested... good luck everyone and thanks again Chris...

John, nice photos of your daily accouterments. What size nib do you have in your fountain pen?

Hi Leo. I knew someone was bound to ask me a question I couldn't answer!

It's been 25 years, and I have long forgotten brand, let alone nib size! Nib is labelled "Iridium - Made in Germany", and has a 5 petal flower engraving. It's probably a bit finer than what I will buy next. I'd like to try a broad nib, as I think it will suit my writing style more. I'll try and do some research and find out...

PS. Dang! I just realised I'm in the wrong thread... this one closed 1 MONTH AGO I need to get me a watch with a MONTH dial

Sorry, Chris, but I suppose any pen posts are good for the cause

Let's see a picture of you writing in your most creative thought provoking place. A beach, a backyard, a mahogony desk in a gentleman's smoking room. What gets your creative juices flowing?
