Is this Sub real?

I'm certainly no expert, so it may be, but I've never seen one like this before - what do you guys think? The seller has pretty solid Rolex feedback... |

Gotcha - yea I saw the piece about the refinished dial...that must hurt value pretty heavily though, correct?

Aftermarket makes it a "fake", doesn't it?
Original Rolex parts but on the wrong watch makes it a "frankenwatch"?

I believe when selling it should be clearly stated , but then Ebay may pull the listing because of that . |

I use Rolex on a Nato strap now and then, but obviously I wouldn't sell a Rolex on a Nato and call it "Rolex". Better to sell just the head then, I guess. Cheers Andreas

eBay will never pull a Time and Gems listing. They make eBay too much money. In this case, T&G clearly states in the listing that the dial has been refinished and, that the bezel insert is custom. As for Rolex, who the h*ll are they to tell me what I can and cannot do to my watch. I bought it, own it free and clear. Some day they are going to refuse warranty work on a watch with a custom bezel and some smart lawyer is going to rightly clean their clock in a court of law.

May be selling but they sure can't tell me what I can or can't do to my own watch.
