Crown issue on Sub Date
I have a new sub-date and when trying to set it last night to sychronize with a standard time to assess how accurate it is, the crown was hard to bring out to the point where it stops the second hand....hard to stop consistently.
This is the second time I have tried this. The first time the crown worked no problem. Is there a trick I am missing here?  Thanks |

It is probably just fine..
the crown and it's connecting stem that extends all the way through the watch has to navigate through all the wheels, pinions and detents to finally hack the movement.. Sometimes it takes a couple of twists and wiggles to get it all aligned...

I wouldn't worry about the crown just wear and enjoy your watch!!!

Had the same issue with mine, Just takes a bit of turning and pulling. All is good.

Several others here have reported the same issue with their new Deep Sea watch, and it's nothing to worry about.

when you unscrew the crown out into position 2 (manual winding mode), turn it in the opposite direction a bit and it should "spring" out. Then it should be easy to pull into positions 3 and 4. Ive noticed on all the subs ive owned that this helped manipulate the crown more smoothly.
