Another 1501 Question

I have two similar watches here, one from 61 and the other from 63.

Is a price of 2,000 USD too much for either one of these?

I don't collect or anything -- I simply have been looking for a nice, older Rolex, for myself, not too flashy yet unique, for some time now, but couldn't decide on the model and look I wanted. I like this model, from this period.

I don't mind paying 2k if that's what it's worth, but don't want to get ripped off if that's too much.

Thanks for your help.

Also.... there are many of these out there.... if all else is the same, would you recommend one from 68 over the one from 59? What will the difference be? I actually like the aged look.... performance-wise, what will the difference be?

Thanks again!

This post has been moved and stands alone now..

It was tacked onto another post and may have not got the attention it deserves..
