Dial just looks wrong, fonts not sharp enough, text in slightly wrong place and wrong size, sub dial hands too fat and centres of them not right. Movement is wrong in a few places, mainly the whole balance and fine-adjustment mechanism.

The bezel appears to be a 6241. The dial has the "Oyster" in the dial, it is for a 6263, the photos of the 6263 that I have are white dials and a black background. The main dial hands appear to be normal Daytona, however the smaller three hands appear to be wider than the 6263 photo I have. The movement has a balance wheel adjustment that is not in any of my photos of a Cal727 or the other movements, also a extra screw exists and one wheel does not look the same. Is this your observations you have come up with also?

Wow, I must be a fish. I would not have known. Goes to show you need to do your homework.

Yes, pretty much the same! It looks "OK" at a glance for a second but if you keep looking at the dial, hands and then movement it is wrong, wrong wrong! I'm sure there are other "tells" that we haven't seen too.
