Rolex day sate fluted bezel.

I am curious as to whether the bezels of d/d'd in 1980's and 1990's were made of white gold ?

All fluted bezels are Gold.......Silver coloured fluted bezels are all white Gold.....with one exception.......Platinum models as far as I know have Platinum fluted bezels, I could be wrong, they could also be white Gold....

Platinum Day-Dates never were offered with a fluted bezel, only with a smooth bezel or diamond bezel, both in platinum.

Day Dates are always made of gold or platinum.

Only a handful of protoype models were made of anything else and 99.9 % of us are unlikely to ever run across one of those..
