Do you own a 14060M Submariner
I recently bought a Submariner 14060M nondate. I love the date cyclops eye, but this one is starting to grow on me.

I like the clean look without the date as I can't see it without my reading glasses.

I have it's older brother, but I must say every time I've tried on a 14060M I'm constantly amazed how light and comfortable the watch is.
The last of the true tools. I'd hate to see it go away. |

Don't have one, but as I am a fan of non-date dive watches, it's intersting that I've not yet actively searched one out.

I voted no, but I used to have a 14060. I sold it to fund my SD purchase. I found that I missed the date too much.

I dont own a Sub yet, But everytime I write a deal I always look at my watch for the Date. No matter how many times the date went to my head (calendar, newspaper, cell phone etc) I still catch myself looking at my watch for what's todays date.

As beautiful as the no-date Sub is, I still do need the date feature. Other than that missing factor, I think the 14060M is one helluva good looking timepiece!!

No
I opted for the date function and the superlativeness of the chronometer, but I would like to pick one up in the future.

14060M is my very first prized possession.......
wanted to wear it...but worried about scratches and stuff like that..... hence ended up getting a pre-owned white dial explorer II as my daily beater.... Date or no date...guess it's no longer an issue.....

Hopefully I can make up my mind to get a 14060M soon.
IMO, Date function is not practical for me, don't like the idea of fiddling with the dates every alternate month. Still prefer to have a watch that is as "automatic" as possible. |

14060M Submariner? I wanted one since high school but didn't buy one until much later. It's one of my few treasures along with my Howard Clark Katana and my Robert Mattingly guitar.

I own one as well. Actually i bought it brand new 3 weeks ago - V serial COSC. But i sent it to the Dallas RSC because it had a particle of lint/dust under the crystal that was bugging the crap out of me.
hopefully ill get it back next week in the condition that it should have came in to begin with. |

Poll closed, but count me in too. It is my only Rolex, bought it used, it is my primary watch. P serial, got it two years ago with (gasp) no box or papers, but the hologram looked new and the clasp was still stiff from lack of use. Purchased from a local certified watchmaker who did a restoration for me. Got to try on a red sub while I was there.

Bought a GMT master II (pepsi) which I really liked....Still do. Anyway I realized I'd made a mistake and wanted the 14060m more. Found a NOS and bought that, intending to use it as my beater, however I'm getting a CWC auto diver (MISUBs RN/RM replacement) to save my Sub getting too beat up on site......Working out an expensive watch now?

Bought one used, now I use it for diving. It's gathering some serious wabi, but that's why it was made - the last of a dying breed of tool watches...

I love the look of the sub no date... coupled with its long and historic heritage, to me its appeal is an accumulation of many things.
