Joran van der Sloot

This guy must be a complete sociopath. It's hard to believe that after getting away with killing one woman, he kills another in almost the exact same fashion. Peruvian authorities are saying he's confessed to the second murder now. It's disappointing to hear that the max jail sentence there for murder is only 35 years. He should never see the light of day again.

I'm willing to bet he'll never leave prison alive; unless he breaksout. I'm Dutch; born in The Antilles......I'm ashamed of this nut job. He really gave us a bad rep. And if you ask me; he's responsible for his own fathers death also. The man just droped dead last year from a broken heart.

Try to keep this thread civil, gents. This is one that could easily deteriorate.

I agree, from what I've heard, young Joran will have a very difficult time in a Peruvian prison. I don't believe they have special isolation confinement provisions.

I think he has probably killed multiple times. I wouldn't be suprised if we find out later he is a serial killer.

Rolex Junky, don't feel too bad, we Americans have had lots of nut job serial killers. I don't think any less of the Dutch people because of one bad egg. This sociopath could haave been from any country.

I am glad he got busted in Peru and I heard this morning that he cofessed. He probably won't ever get out of prision in Peru. It is supposed to be pretty rough there.

He's right J. A close-up would be in order, thus levitating the atmosphere even more.

It is just a shame another woman died at his hands, he will not last in a prison at his young age.

Looks like he cut a deal for his admission of guilt, probably something to ensure his safety in jail. Possibly he admits to Holloway and serves his time in Aruba.

I just want to see the inside driver's door panel, but someone's blocking my view.

Only 35 years?? They say it doesn't get much closer to Hell then where he's going...

If he's guilty he deserves a peruvian jail over a dutch one.

This case is world wide and he will not leave the country what so ever. His name is also a big prize for government. The case si slam dunk, the camera's showed everything, even a camera next to his room, so it would be impossible for him not to cut a deal in the favor of the government. I think he will most likely become someone's play toy in prison.

I have some close connections with Peru and can tell you that he may not make to his hearing. If he does he won't last long in prison. He messed with a girl from an elite high ranking family and that's not a good thing to do there.

If it is true about her family then he will not stand a chance.

That's probably about the last thing they could hang him by. Those I expect will be removed well before the hangman arrives for the coup de grace.
