Union Carbide CEO.
In 1984 a chemical leak in the Indian town of Bohpal killed in the region of 20,000 (Twenty thousand) people, the CEO of the company at the time (Union Carbide) visited the area and was arrested for manslaughter and was duly bailed, he has since refused to go back to India to face trial.

Yes, saw it on the news today, I knew there was a lot of people killed, just didn't imagine it was so many, having said that, it now makes me realize that the global village we live in has shrunk considerably since then, the advent of the internet has made news that much more accessible and lightning fast.
