Fountain Pen Network Forum

under DDoS attack? Any of you members of FPN able to access their forum? I find that forum very informative as well and it seems like they are in a process of repairing their server due to harmful and malicious Attack!!

I saw a screen yesterday (and just now) stating that they are going through a maintenance which will require longer than normal time.

FPN appears to be experiencing the same kind of attack that we did last week.

I am sure they will get it sorted out.

The Fountain Pen Network is undergoing maintenance.

Dearest Members and Visitors
of the Fountain Pen Nuthouse,

Currently our digital prairie is undergoing maintenance.

The downtime of the site will be longer than normal, due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, some people deem it necessary to destroy the pleasure we all have in our shared interests and hobbies.

We are currently removing malware and plugging loopholes in order to make FPN a safe place for all of us again. An ETA for the reappearance of the board cannot be estimated currently.

Once all is fixed, you will be directed back to the Fountain Pen Network instead of to this message.

In case of questions, do please email us (see below), and in the mean time, why not play with your pens and inks for a while? ;)

See you later!

Warm regards,

The FPN Admin Team

Looks like FPN got hacked, and malware was planted inside. The admins there had to take the site down and disinfect it, and also to boost up defence against hackers.
Glad it's back up now.

For anyone frequent FPN, I strongly recommend you run a malware sweep on your pc.

I'm a member of FPN. It's up and running fine now, it would seem.

As is this joint, which is a source of great joy to me.
