Funny story
So I'm hanging wit a few pals of mine at a bar I never frequent. I strike up a conversation with a guy next to me as we are both focused on the market news on the tv. Blah blah blah what are you holding, buying, speculating on etc. I don't know this guy but he comments on my ss sub and says loudly " now that's a great watch". As he's doing this he motions to the bartender, whom he apparently knows and points to my wrist. The bartender who appears to be wearing a breitling, smirks and walks away. Needless to say my one for three buy backs ceased. I thought it was amusing. Also his 2 bucks a drink tip ceased as well. Just a little funny story you guys would be entertained by.

So he stopped the buy backs because you were wearing a Rolex?
You stopped the $2 a drink tip because he stopped the buy backs? Well, unless you were sipping $6+ drinks i'd say that you were up on the deal. Result!!

I don't think he stopped buying back because I was wearing a sub. More likely the knucklehead sitting next to me threw a shot at his watch and used me as ammo either way I found it funny. Clearly the barkeeper did not. Lol
