What Did You Pay
In 1996 I purchased an Oyster Perpetual Datejust in stainless steel and 18K gold, dial set with 10 diamonds, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet from the AD. The MSRP was 6750.00 at that time and I paid 6000.00 out the door. The MSRP is now 9525.00 over 10 years later (of course the bracelet is design is nicer today). What did you pay and when?

No. My AD said that Rolex did not allow them to give discounts-I heard this from 2 different ADs. I did get $100.00 off for paying caash though.

Just paid $5525 for a new Sub LV from an AD. No sales tax and the AD paid for the shipping and insurance.
In Hong Kong 8 December 2006, paid $3250 for a new Explorer 1 and $3450 for a new Sub No-Date. |

Alcan,
OUCH, I feel your pain, a buddy of mine at work is on his sixth, yes his sixth divorce. He is actually thinking of saying I do again. He says he likes buying houses for women. |

It can't be any worse than where I live-a "city" of 12,000 people. Although I am only 35 miles from our states' capitol city. By the way, JJ, how many posts until I earn the right to call you a tosser?
