Icon20 First Ink Order Placed...

Well, just placed my first ink order from Amazon... here is the list.

-2 Lamy Safari converters (so I can use the ink! and not refills)

-Noodler's Air Corp Blue-Black ink

-Noodler's Bulletproof Lexington Grey

-Noodler's Heart of Darkness (with free pen)

-MB Bordeaux

Guess I'll see how these work out and post some pics for you all! It's great getting into something new!

Any ideas for future FP's? I've been seeing allot of Pelikan posts... Im just now getting into the "pen scene" (other than tactical pens or MB) so some ideas on brand names would be good... thanks all!

Congrats on the new inks Nick. I think you will like the Noodler's they make great colors and they fill the bottle to the rim.

If you are looking for a Pelikan try Richard Binders website.http://www.richardspens.com/
He also adjusts and tunes the nibs on his new pens so they are as smooth as butter.

Nick,

You will have a lot of fun experimenting with these colors! After you've had them for a bit, please post your impressions, and even better if you are able, post writing samples. I particularly want to try the MB Bordeaux as it appears to be a rich and regal color. Take care, Faith

I ordered 12 bottles of Noodlers in different colors from Amazon! About 7 dollars a bottle if I remember correctly. Some of the better colors also. Amazon is a great resource.
