Rolex Submariner Clasp
Who thinks that the Submariner clasps can be a little thinner height wise?

I kinda like it the way it is... It could be made slimmer, but then, you'd want the watch to be the same... as it's opposite the bulk of the Rolex case.
So is the No for not changing it or for not liking it? Forgive me, I'm easily confused.

Not sure what exactly you mean, but I still voted NO because I really wouldn't like to see any changes to the clasp. It's a time proven clasp, very strong and pretty dependable.....and does the job it's been designed for.

I have to say, I would like to see the TT anniversary GMT clasp on the sub.

It's a great clasp as it is.

so, if yes is slimmer / no is for keeping it the same... then mine has to be no.
I think the TT GMT clasp is actually deeper (thickness). I guess if they were going to supersize the Submariner (poor thing)... then they'd be obliged to use the bigger clasp... but I dunno if I'd care for that look to come over to the Submariner line necessarily.

I'd really rather it be left as is. I've never had an issue with it.

I'm tired of having the clasps on every one of my Subs and even the SD pop open when I hit the water. And yes, I know how to do field adjustments to tighten the band, but it has been a consistent problem, regardless of which watch I am wearing. It's time for something stronger.

Yesterday I saw a 1990 Blue face TT Sub for US$5000. The band was TT but the clasp was SS! Yuck!

That's the way they were, back in the day. I'd love to get a newer style bracelet with the gold through the clasp for my older TT Sub, but it probably won't happen.

Well speaking for myself have never had a problem with the clasp, on Sub or SD.On land, in the air,on/in/under the water fresh or sea,had a lug pin fail but that was not down to a Rolex fault.
