Hmm. Some folks on TRF were ragging on the movement in another thread... Must say I would prefer a big block old school Tudor or a Daytona - if I could afford one.

Awesome watch by the way. A real beauty. It dwarfs the Daytona IMO. Is the movement an ETA movement? I read that they used an ETA non chrono movement that had some modification done to turn it into a functional chrono movement. I thought this was an odd choice if true....not sure though.

I wish the engine was worthy. A great addition to any collection but not the best movement for an everyday wearer, imho.

It's an ETA movement with a chrono module installed on top [or underneath] to the base movement rather than an integrated chrono movement like the Valjoux 7750 or Zenith.
The chrono gears are working even when the chrono function is not running, adding premature wear. The module requires special tools and most modules are just replaced instead of repaired.
