How old were you?

When you bought your first Rolex, and what kind was it?

Stories are greatly welcomed.

I'm just wondering because I almost bought one when I was 18, but I was suckered into a Tag instead. Getting ready to buy a SD, within a month or so, though

I was 20 in May of 2007 when I bought my datejust. I saved my bonus from enlisting and I got out a year later (honorably, for being a single dad with a kid who got sick all the time and a crappy "family care plan".) They don't like infantry airborne guys to miss work. On a side note, if I would've gotten deployed right when I got to my unit like I was supposed to, (the army changed their minds and my unit didn't go) then I wouldn't be a single father and I would still be in as long as I would have made it back.

Anyway, I paid $7,300 and I learned a week later that I couldn't buy my happiness. Now, I'm selling it and going to try to buy some more happiness

I bought a pre-owned Explorer when I was 13 using my own money, then after saving some more and using the leftover funds I bought my 1966 GMT Master 1675. Now I'm broke, but it was worth it.

That's basically what I'm starting to do while in college currently.

20 years young.

We'll look back at our college years with lots more happiness when we're older knowing what we put our money into

46, 5 years ago. I'm a late bloomer, what can I say?
Bought a 1986 DJ [year I got married] preloved, on TZ. It went downhill from there.
