Haven't had a personal watch serviced by Omega UK, but I do get to send a lot off for service at work. Current waiting time is c.16 weeks (they're changing service facilities, it sounds absolutely chaotic). Normally the quality of work is very high, but recently we have been having to send quite a few back - they must be rushing the work, and it's obviously upsetting a lot of people, and makes us as a shop look bad as well.
I'm just looking forward to both Omega and Rolex servicing to get back to normal |

To be fair to them, they moved into the new workshop well over a year ago. Their current delays however are still pretty bad

Had my seamaster serviced about a year ago. Took 17 weeks but the polishing looked like new and rate was +2 per day.

wow
wow i can't believe it takes so long to service a simple eta movement found in most current omegas! even my older seamasters and constellations with in-house movements get serviced super quick and economically in my locale. i suggest finding a competent independent watchmaker to handle service as they are usually more talented, more economical and can give more personalised service! same goes for rolex!
