So I was bored tonight so inked up my FP's (and MB rollerball) will all the different colors I have and made one sample of them all... enjoy! I just ordered J. Herbin Poussiere De Lune and the J. Herbin 340th anniversary ink. Anyone got any new stuff to share? (i.e. pens, inks, anything?)

Very good Nick!
These ink samplings are very valuable to those who know FP's.

I like that Lexinton Grey
![]() I'm interesting in trying the new Oyster Grey that Montblanc have just released. I didn't know that Montblanc did a green Rollerball...maybe they don't import that colour into Australia. ![]() ![]()

I know! Luckily enough, no need to break the seal... its not part of the cap so it can remain the way it is. I will post some writing samples as soon as I ink up one of my pens with it.

Looks great! I've been wrestling with the idea of a new pen. Your thread is tempting me again.

Nice Nick. I have the Poussiere de Lune and like it a lot myself. I keep my Pelikan inked up with it. I bought some Herbin Lierre Sauvage (ivy green) a couple of week ago and I really like that; been using it every day since. It's a beautiful, rich green color. I also have some of the 1670 on the way and I'm looking forward to using that.
In general, I really like the Herbin inks I've tried so far. They all have excellent writing characteristics and the palette of colors is very appealing. I'll try to get some samples of the Lierre Sauvage and Bleu Nuit soon. |

The thing I like J. Herbin ink is that they are all natural ingredients and they are very friendly to the pen. Usually it only takes 5-6 flushes and the pen is all cleared, whilst some of the MB inks can take forever to clear (e.g. MB Violet, Ruby Red, White Forrest).

The Montblanc Violet does take a long time to flush out.
Last time it took me 3 days ![]()

I really enjoy using MontBlanc's Bordeaux(currently in the pen I'm using) and the Oyster Grey. I too have had ink which is hard to flush out I do not know the brand because it was in a pen I bought at Paradise Pen during their open house. But it was a dark purple and took about a half an hour to thoroughly flush out the ink(from the convertor) so I could fill it with Oyster Grey!!!
