For Sale section...(UK)
Evening all,
Question to the UK members, what are your thoughts on a sub section in the for sale section for UK members? I find myself trawling through many pages to find the UK sellers of which there are good few, but get lost in the mostly US sellers posts... Maybe if anough would like this change, admin may make it happen? Regards, Dan

UK alone would be very quit. But I too would like to see the US and ROW (rest of world) seperated. Maybe this would attract more Euro ads

Great idea. I think it would be useful to highlight UK sales seperately.

Yes, 100% agree. I also get lost hunting for the UK ads. Count my vote.

I'd certainly agree on this part - would make the sales section easier to navigate

Admin - can this be arranged then, as feedback seems pretty positive for it?
Much appreciated!

I agree too Dan. Posts rapidly disappear from the front page. ROW or Europe would be good.

Good idea,we need a few people like DavidSW over here in the uk,as i dont know if i would import from abroard, not the sellers its the import duty etc and red tape and taxes. They would probably confiscate my watch.

Why not just ask the sellers to put their code eg 'UK' in the thread header and the Brits etc can search for it.

Its a good idea. But on the other hand, if the price is right it doesnt matter
where an item comes from. The global market.... |

This has been brought up before a few times and since you don't see and management rushing to post to this thread I suspect that it won't happen....

Why UK only? European Union or nothing IMO.

This is certainly an interesting proposal : I can imagine that most buyers like to buy within their currency and avoid tax/import issues .
At the same time it can be used to benefit favorable exchange rates when they apply . US / Euro and Asian sales sections could be something to look into . |

just a thought...
i have just done a quick search with "UK" only and selection For Sales sections... the message i got was: The following errors occurred with your search: 1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. not sure if there is a minimum character requirment. i know some forums requires a minimum of 3 characters, therefore "UK" would not work. for their FS section, they use "EUUK" to identify items from the EU or UK. |
