14060m Finally!

Well after a little "Hummin' and Hawin' " finally broke down and bought a Submariner ND. It came down to a choice between the Submariner ND, an Explorer 2 (Black Face), and a Sea Dweller (original).

After trying all of them on (not to mention a few others...) there was something about the Sub that made me buy it. One thing however, i noticed was how light especially the band is, like it almost seems delicate and could break. Afer reading these forums i think i am a little 'over-worried' of breaking it and it will be something that ill have to get used too.

I have to say this is one beautiful watch and am having trouble not looking at it. anyway pics are to follow.

I always found the Subs to have "cheap" or "fragile" feeling bracelets also. Apparently, they aren't though.

I saw one 14060 at the AD, and it looked awesome. It was almost like a watch from the classic collection.

It was beautiful!

I hope you enjoy it!

Beautiful non-cosc!! I love the lack of lettering on the face, wish they still made them that way.

I'm torn between buying that one or a DJ for my next Rolex, if there is a next Rolex.

Actually, I'm so happy with my Explorer that I'm not sure if I'll ever wear another watch.

But, that's a beauty, for sure.

Congratulations.

Congrats, waiting for the pics.
I've had my GMT II for a month and I think I have already decided a non COSC 14060M is my next watch.

Congrats on the Sub! Don't worry about the light bracelet...it won't break and you'll eventually appreciate it's weight (or lack of).

There seems to be a 14060 virus going around. I've been getting the sniffles a little my self.

Congratulations on getting a real classic.
The bracelet wont break so dont worry.....every so often it will give you a little "wrattle" to let you know it's still ok.

If I had to start buying watches again, I would start with this watch for sure.

My 14060M is the older model without the COSC certification lettering on the dial and I really like the cleaner look!!!
