I believe that Sub is all white gold ..... there is no stainless steel.

I think he meant ceram (ceramic) and typoed.
The WG Sub is a great piece, no stainless. You can get one from one of our reputable TRF resellers and save a bundle on both the price and the tax. They have a feel on your wrist like no other Sub (possible exception the YG!), one great watch! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Is that blue the same as on the TT ceramic sub? It seems lighter in pictures I see?

I've been wondering the same thing. I have yet to see them side by side at an AD. Every picture i see the WG looks lighter than the TT.....

emporers new clothes ,,, blue looks cheap and flat , to my eye its too pale , it would look nicer with the older darker more vibrant blue.
prob not a popular opinion , but , its what i think |

Blue dial/bezel :the color of lakes/ocean water - what an approppriate color combo for a diving watch .
If the Rolex official corporate color were purple instead of green , we'd have had purple dial/bezeled/hands in their "50 year old" models and one wonders what that demand would be like . ![]() |

One of my dream ones but cannot really afford for the time being. Looks much better than the green sub-C.

If they did, it would probably be their " grail " version like this beautiful WG Sub-C : a $30K WG GMT IIC with (finally) a ceramic Pepsi bezel , just to tweek the legions of Pepsi lovers who assumed it would have come as a future version of the SS. |

Love the subtlety of this one, seeing the sub and then noticing it's the blue WG is sort of like noticing a Z4 then seeing the M badge, one little touch that has a significantly deeper implication than it lets on at a glance.
