My new grail

I was browsing thru the TRF and Rolex website...and found this version of Daytona. Love at first sight! Let's see how long I'll have to save (and how i'm gonna convince my wife! ;-) )

Gorgeous Daytona, I just don't think I would want to wear it with a leather band.

That's sweet stuff man! I'd like myself that version with a meteorite dial! However, a gray dial (like the one depicted), or a white dial would suffice should I not find a meteorite! :D

I love the gray dial!. Looks like this will be my new GRA(Y)IL as well. My list is getting longer. Does it also come with a SS bracelet?

Excuse me, it's not gray, the color is SLATE! With white gold. Cosmograph Daytona Model 116519.

I'm not usually a big fan of the Daytona, but this version looks great. Contrary to a previous post, I think the watch on a strap looks very, very sharp.

I like that a lot, but for a strap this has been on my list for a while but is discontinued and hard to find, I have never seen one for sale.

I just put money down on an order for that exact watch this last week! Same slate arabic dial and strap. After that I've run out of Rolex grails and will have to move on to the Glashütte Senator Meissen and the Patek annual calendar...

Wow...that watch looks outstanding. This is the first time I've seen a Daytona on a leather strap and I'm blown away- very classy.

This is really nice. I have seen a WG daytona with meteorite in the flesh and it is stunning as well. Is it possible to buy a WG bracelet as well and be able to switch between the two?

No white gold bracelet would suit unfortunately from Rolex. You can find third party bracelets, however, will require heavy modification. For the price of the WG bracelet, this excercise is not worth it. Most important, no damage must be done to the watch!

I saw and tried on this very watch in person today at the AD - it is simply stunning and put everything else I had lined up to shame! Spectacular and understated piece.
