Michael, this site has been DOS attacked 4 times that I can remember in the last 13 months....Last time was only 3 months ago!!

Its because we speak the truth here about certain "groups" of people in the watchout section...

Usually a DDoS is the result of revenge or extortion (pay me or you and your customers lose access to your website). They are hard to trace because the botnets are not directly controlled from the perps computer, but through compromised legitimate sites or malware "havens".

Since the website is responding well, I think it has more to do with DNS than a direct attack... otherwise we would not be in here right now via the IP. DNS poisening is one possibility, however... so it still could be an attack of some sort.

Hi Rob

yes, same down under, site "down" (another DOS attack methinks)

I also googled for the IP address - I should have aded to favorites fron last time

I found TRF here http://************ - assume that's the correct one?

As if Steve and the mods don't have enough to worry about! I have quietly been watching some threads out of the corner of my eye, but no way am I getting involved! I'm staying well away from this - mind you, I do have some opinions, but I'll share in person next time we catch up (january?)... I wouldn't be silly enought to put in writing

I hope it's just a small issue, and not the return of the E-pirates!

Someone needs to ask GinGin to close the thread on WUS that advertises our backdoor IP.

It's all good now:

Apologies for the inconvenience.........it had me worried too.
