My Rolex tool
Finding out the best watch tool I have to tinker around with my Rolex watches is my good old trusty Swiss Army Champion Knife. Bought in 1996 in Hong Kong and carried all over the world with me.
Has magnifying glass to observe etched cronet and watch details. Has pin, to use in bracelet fine adjustments Has mini screw driver (that is attached to the cork screw) that is perfect for unscrewing link screws. Toothpick works well, to hold lug pin out of hole on one side, while take other side out. Small awl punch works well to remove lug pins. Tweezer to help reinstall bezel spring. Two things I never travel without, a Rolex on my wrist and my swiss army knife! |

I just Googled that model. Looks like it has everything except a chain saw!

I carry this. With the claw I can pry off the bezel and the case back...

I used the hell out of my Swiss Army Champion...I lost it in an accident...I kept the black leather case for a few days & then then gave it away to a kid overseas who really liked it, and who used it to store matches, cigarettes etc.
That was in 2002 - I haven't replaced it with anything else, but have always carried a relatively cheap Spyderco Delica (replaced a couple years back with an FRN Native) with me every day. |

Yeah, I jsut bought a Benchmade 940, partially serated blade - green handle, that I am really happy with. IMHO the best production pocket knife out there. I had used a 940 previously, carried with me for 6 months in Kosovo and then 6 months in Cambodia. Then was either lost or stolen. Finally got around to getting a replacement.
