New Delta Cossacks FP

I just picked up a new Delta Cossacks fountain pen. It is hand- crafted and turned from solid bars of special resins, the barrel is mother- of-pearl red with flecks of silver. The cap is shaped to resemble a Cossack hat. The clip is formed to look like a shashka, (Cossack saber). It has a hand crafted sterling silver band and a solid 18K gold medium nib with a platinum mask. The nib is also engraved with the image of an Ataman (Cossack chieftain). It uses a cartridges or screw in converter. Production was Limited to 1569 fountain pens.

That's a hell of a lot of packaging for such a small item.

Beautiful!
What material is the cap top? It looks like cast iron or maybe it's a silver alloy?

Hi Kai. The cap is sterling silver. It is dimpled so the “dents” tarnish which gives it a different shine. I probably could use a jewelers cloth and shine it up.

I thought I would post a page from the book that explains a little more about the pen.
