Omega warranty repairs

My Omega watch requires a repair under warranty. I am currently working overseas and my warranty cards are at home. I am trying to get it repaired locally as I won’t be home for months, will an AD accept a copy of my original sales invoice as proof of purchase for repair or do I have to have my warranty card before they will do work. Any ideas?

Update, they did accept a copy of the original sales invoice sent from my AD and it is now being repaired. Should be back on my wrist next week.

Good service. Probably just as well your not in Britain at the moment. I've heard that service times are outrageous here at the moment.
