Black Submariner vs. Black & Gold Submariner

Thinking of getting a DLC Submariner and leaning towards the black and gold.

Thoughts?

That TT Sub looks fantastic, especially the contrast of gold against black!

Not my cup of tea either.

Will Rolex service these? Would they be considered modified?

Not my cup of tea is the political correct response.

Unfortunately I am a person who speaks his mind.

My mind says that it reminds me of one of these:

Sorry you asked...

Yeah, agree with the above, pass on all of the above, I really dislike two tone, and the DLC just doesn't do it for me. Looks cool once in a while, not every day.

I'm not a fan of the blacked out Rolex look. It seems like they overcharge for the treatment. I would rather spend that money on another watch. The upcharge might get you Black Doxa Military 5000T, so two problems solved at once.

If you are going to go down this path there is one 'red' sub on their site with red second hand and pearl as well. This IMHO dresses up the all black without the addition of the gold....Somewhat to the PVD one Jason did if I remember correctly...

I agree the black and gold is a stunning watch however just not what I think of when I think Rolex... I would also prefer them the exact way they leave the factory... Good Luck

Not my favorite thing to do to a Rolex but most def
a more unique look. If I had to do it, I think the all
black looks better. The black dresses it down and the gold
tries to dress it back up. So, the TT doesn.'t work well.
Just my two cents.

Not a fan but if I had to pick one in a life or death situation I would go with the black. The black and gold is hideous.
