Hey guys,

I don't know about you fellas but I normally look at watches for sale online just to track certain model's values over a period of time......and just for plessure lol!

But iv noticed that many sellers make quite a big point about a watch being brought either in a US or UK AD, has anyone else noticed this?

If so why does buying from these paticular countries almost add value to your watch?
I mean rolex guarantee is meant to be honoured all around the world and an AD is a AD which ever country you go to, so what makes US or UK so special?

It truly makes no difference except some people prefer US AD here in US. One thing about US AD--certificates clearly state description of watch and dial. So if one was buying a Day Date and it had a silver dial with diamonds--that would be written out so if dial was somehow changed you would know--unless it was changed to same dial of course. Other than that--makes no difference in terms of price.
