New GMT II Anniversary on my Wrist!

You've all seen them before but this one's special to me because it happens to be on MY wrist. I stopped by my AD today to talk more about the Vintage Sub I'm working on and he had this in the case. It came in yesterday and today it's mine!

And now for the all important pic:

Hope you like it,

Steve

Congratulations! Nice watch. Does anyone know if Rolex is going to issue this version of the GMT II Anniversary in SS only, or is it just 2-tone? Lately I have become much more interested in this model. Regardless, I hope you enjoy your new watch for many years to come.

Big congrats!! Man you are on a roll! Two of the best in short order, well done!!

As a matter of fact I was at an ADs today trying the TT GMT on. Much lighter than the gold watch. Very comforable and very sharp! The bezel, fit and finish is just supurb!

That's perhaps the most substantial and beautiful TT I've ever worn. I keep trying then on, and maybe one day I'll have one, but for now, I'm maxed out on watches. Congratulations!

Whoa! Congratulations, Steve! And, I must say that you are one lucky fellow, good buddy! The fit, finish, and, heftier construction designed into this specific watch is just absolutely stunning! Enjoy!

I can see from your avatar that you are in an anniversary state of mind too.

I had a PAM127 last year and I thought that was a big watch (and it was) but the GMT II looks chunkier on my wrist and it is a whole lot more comfortable. It might just be the honeymoon period but IMHO: GMT II > PAM127.

Without a doubt, the GMT Anniversary's bold styling is a very sexy sight to see... With my eyesight, the Maxi-Dial and enhanced lume would be a welcome addition. Congrats on a very special and striking Rolex.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Call me crazy but I was actually considering getting that over the Daytona, but considering how long I waited for the Daytona, I optd for it instead.

To mine and my AD's surprise, they've had their 50th Anniversary GMT TT sitting in the disply case for more than a month

With out any question, that will be my next watch purchase

p.s. Did you get a discount?

I got 10% off MSRP of $8925 so it was $8032 plus tax.
