I went to the Philippines and Singapore and managed to meet with a few Ristis

A few weeks ago I went to visit my Mom in the Philippines and while there I met up with a "few" Pinoyristis/PWC'ers. On the way back home I stopped by Singapore for a night and met with a couple of cool Singaporean Ristis for dinner and drinks. Two GTGs in a span of two days w00t!!!

The room we reserved got filled up quickly! We were expecting maybe 20 guys to show up but over 30 people came which made the GTG really memorable. Aside from myself there a were two other overseas based Pinoys into watches. Fellow Risti Jun from Norcal (JunL on Pcom) was there along with Doc Melvin from Oz (scalpel72 on PWC). Food was great of course but I honestly couldn't remember how it tasted as I was busy making new friends We stayed late till close to midnight. The group and table shots are not really representative of the GTG as a few had already left by the time we took pictures. I think we would have stayed longer but the manager of the place wanted to go home that night

Here are some pics from our Pinoyristi GTG...

Will def hook up with the guys again next summer

Two days later I was in Singapore to meet with our company's local office. So I took the opportunity to meet up with SG Ristis Pat and Zameen. They had their own big GTG that weekend but I could only stay for the night. I wish I could have stayed for the weekend Maybe next time.

Here are some pics from another memorable evening

We went to Newton Circle as I wanted to get some local fare

My gracious hosts Pat and Zameen

Satay!!!

Washed down with barley water

Then we went back to the hotel for a round of drinks

GTGs aren't complete without a table shot I suppose

Pat, Zameen, thanks for a great evening. Hope to meet you again in the not so distant future

Sorry for the number of pics. Hope you enjoyed them.
Cheers

Toronto, Canada ako bro, pero born and raised in Makati! I'm beginning to love the PAMs, but my wrist is too small (6.5 inch) and I'm afraid I'll look silly with a 44mm PAM. My wife's 048 (40mm) looks perfect in my wrist...
