Finding a 312 possible?
I went to my nearest AD and they don't have a 312 and said they'll try to find one for me. Do you think they'll find it or are these watches difficult to find? Also, they said I wouldnt be able to get a discount on it. Is that how things are going with this model?

A 312 should be no problem to find. Don't expect any discounts from an AD, but you can get an extra strap or two thrown in most times. There are some good sellers around here if you want a BNIB PAM for a discount. Good luck!

Looks right here on TRF and on watchnet and paneristi. There are lots of dealers that can get you one with a little discount and they are BNIB from a US AD.

Yes
312 is not that difficult to find now, actually my AD just got one in this week, I don't know it is true or not, he said they are getting around 8 per year. And of cause they discount it!

True.
Maybe because now OP make 4000 pieces 312 vs. 1000 of 328 yearly, or a lot people like to change strap often for PAM. But 20% off 328 vs. 10 - 15% off 312, buying 328 is a no-brainer.

I would expect at least a 10-15% discount. Yes it's a desirable watch but if you are a real buyer and the AD has the watch, he won't let it go over 10-15%.

Maybe I will look to trade up from my 111 someday. The 328/312 gets me the date...but looks a tad too similar to the 111. I do like the ease of setting the 111 thought. ![]() |
