Montblanc ink stain

Montblanc ink stains, will a drycleaner get rollerball stains out of a dress shirt?

Classic Cleaners, corner of Clearview and W. Esplanade. You know, next to the snowball stand. Good luck. RS

I just got my short back from Randons cleaners next to buds broilers on clearview. (I dropped it off at my regular cleaner before I posted the initial thread) He could not remove the stain. he said to remove it with a dye stripper would also remove the color from the shirt.
I am a little disappointed because it was a custom made brooks brothers shirt. Do you think Classic Cleaners can really remove it?

They've done minor miracles on some stuff before, but they were regular white shirts and I wouldn't have been upset if they were ruined in the process(couldn't get much worse). I don't know how much they can help, but if they're not too far out the way it may be worth a shot. Best of luck with the stain!! RS

Randons cleaners tried but was unsuccessful. They said the dye stripper to remove the ink would also kill the dye in the shirt. they dry cleaned it but did not charge me since the stain didn't come out. Classic cleaners looked at it but said that if someone else dry cleaned it that I they would have the same result.

The shirt was a custom Brooks Brothers shirt. I brought the shirt back to Brooks Brothers to remake it for me, but my friendly sales associate offered to try a couple of his remedies before letting me re-purchase the same shirt.

Hope they can fix you up, or get you a replacement for it. At least you were able to go to Canal Place and visit scenic downtown N.O.. Cheers RS
