Voice in the Crowd: Hey, Mr. Wheat!

Buckwheat: Yes.

[ suddenly, two shots ring out, as Buckwheat staggers and his bodyguards run into the startled crowd to tackle the mysterious assailant - cameras zoom back to see the limo peel away in a mad rush to the hospital. ]

Ted Koppell: We have just.. we have just received some tragic news.. Buckwheat.. is dead.

I DID LMAO when I saw it during its live showing. It was a parody of the way news shows inundate you with the same footage and sound bytes over and over. That was still during the Golden Age of SNL...

I grew up watching SNL in the days Of Belushi, Aykroyd, Morris, Murray, Radner, on and on. brilliant comedy. It was even ok with Murray on there and the Buckwheat episode was classic.

I stayed up to watch SNL last night because Peyton Manning was the host. It sucked. Barely a laugh.

Nice wrist shot, Randy. I think the bracelet goes very well with the black face.

The other classic show was Billy Crystal as the college recruiter.

You don't have to attend classes after the first day. You only have to show up in four years for graduation.

If you tell anyone about this, we will find you and we will kill you.
