Market value of older ss Submariner

Hi,

I'm new here so apologise if I'm posting in the wrong forum - I'd also like to mention I'm not trying to make a sale through this post, I'll head to a suitable sales forum in due course!

I have a c10 yr old stainless steel/black submariner with date. It's in 'fair' condition but does need a service. Most of the marks on the watch would easily be removed as part of the service clean up.

What could I expect as a second hand value - roughly. An upper/lower range would be a help.

I've got a 10th wedding anni coming up and plan to sell the sub and buy a new DSSD for me and a datejust for her similar to this;

Plan is to partially fund this with the sale of my well loved subbie! Since I got my 47mm Oris Diver my sub has felt too small hence the DSSD idea. My local jeweller has both watches I want in stock. He'll take my watch in trade but I can probably get more selling privately.
