My new Rolex
Well, here it is finally! After a few false starts & stops, my wonderful wife has given me a Rolex. I absolutely love it. Sorry about the pics everyone. But a few cool things I DO like:
Solid links Heftier feel of watch Alternating colors of date Inside has Rolex going around the metal band under the Sapphire crystal. And the Tinga, tinga. A sonnier of sorts! Repeatedly of course.  My wifes favorite, the Rolex crown on the clasp. Well, I finally have what my dad always did. Kinda cool to come full circle & know at one time my Dad was wearing one too. NOT THIS exact watch, but a Rolex. You get the idea. I also would like to say in the same breath a BIG thank you to Connoisseur of time and more specifically Brandi Hoyt, a customer service extraordinaire who did right by my wife.  There are a lot of shysters out there and the few that are good, should be told of. Unlike some, as you may recall our first experience. Brandi is top notch. She was patient as this was our second test on a watch bought from them. The first Serti was just TOO nice for me.Sigh.I'd also like to thank this forum and the many members expertise in their past reviews and veiwpoints that helped me decide on a watch. Your insights are priceless.  Keep up the good work!

Well, thanks everyone! The true credit goes to my wonderful wife. What she see in me is a mystery. By the same token, this site has helped me a gain greater appreciation of watches be it Rolex or other fine watches. Diversity is good thing. I suspect watch collecting will be my life long hobby.
