WatchTime Magazine Rolex Special Edition?

This was mentioned on another forum. People are getting these from their Rolex ADs. Anybody get one? I subscribe to WatchTime Magazine and wonder if I will get one in the mail soon. I usually get special edition supplements in the mail from WatchTime.

I subscribe as well and I didn't get one either. There is also no mention of it on their web site.

I got one a few days ago, but my subscription is through my company. We got one for every staff member. We might have a few extra though...

If you can get your hands on it, I suggest you do. There is a lot of information in there, and some really great pictures as well.

Is this a separate issue (like the one they did on Patek) or the special article they did on Rolex some issues ago?

It's got mostly articles from 2000-2006. Nice articles on the GMT anniversary, Subs, Daytona and more. History of the company is also explored. Got it at one of my local ad's. They said it hadn't come out yet....

Hey gang,
The Watchtime Rolex Special Issue copies we have in our store came from Rolex in New York, Here is what the memo said:

Dear Official Rolex Jeweler:

One company emerges above the others in generating interest and respect in the world of watchmaking. That company is Rolex.

As a result, this special issue of WATCHTIME Magazine is dedicated exclusively to one topic: Rolex. Within this Limited Edition 80-page issue, you'll find a dozen articles originally published by the leading editors of WATCHTIME between 2000 and 2006. There is no publication for watch lovers that is more respected for it's objectivity and independent voice.

The copies enclosed are primarily intended for internal use... i.e. store manager, watch buyer and sales associates to build their knowledge base in selling Rolex timepieces. In addition, please note that a copy of this Rolex Special Issue will be mailed in early April to all WATCHTIME subscribers. We hope you'll enjoy this magazine and add it to your store's collection of limited edition reference materials.

With Best Regards,

Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc.

Guys, I think TRF members in South East Asia need your help...

I can't get it here in Indonesia. So if somebody would be kind enough to send me one copy, I would highly appreciate it... I'm ready to pay for the postage :))

Best Regards,

Syahril

Could really go for a copy as well. Any one want to send me one here in Thailand? Have a Rolex Golf Magazine, with lots of Date just photos. Got the Magazine from the Rolex AD here. Not a Golf fan, so would be more than happy to trade and mail to you. PM me if interested.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I used to have a copy of the magazine referenced here and can't find it for the life of me. My brother has recently gotten excited about Rolex and I would love to show it to him. Does anyone have a copy kicking around that they wouldn't mind selling?? If so, just shoot me a PM. Thanks!

You can give them a call and see if they still have some left in stock. I am not a subscriber and purchased this particular issue directly from them in 2009. Good luck
